I have been doing a lot of soul searching on this matter that was brought to my attention yesterday. Even my son was asking me about this situation. My cousin emailed me from Denmark also about this situation. I was hoping never to go through this again. I was hoping that people would just let it go.
In 1998 there was a ”protest” in Dallas. Not just any type of protest it was about paganism. That was an important time in my life. I was finally coming into my religion. I am not going into the whole thing however like the wheel of time looks like its about to come back around. I stood up then, I will stand up now.
There is a ”preacher” in Tennessee that well is starting to get a bit to big for his britches. He has gone as far as attacking not only LGBTQ+ , witches, and get this Masons. Yes I said free Masons. To the point he was banned from Twitter. I have seen videos of this ”preacher” talking about austic children being possessed. Don’t get me started on the fact that he burns books. The state he is in also is banning and burning books in schools. He has multiple accounts on tiktok where he spits out hate and threats of harm to not only witches but witches that are in his ”church”. By outing them and telling addresses and well other information.
This information is extremely harmful to not only them but if anyone were to act upon that information. I am not in anyway advocating for volence NO. That is not what paganism is. NOT any path that fall under the umbrella. That also includes Christian witches. YES there are Christian witches.
I am tired, however when it comes to my witchy family, I will not tolerate this kind of abuse from someone of the cloth. I am asking this ”preacher” to stop. Before someone gets hurt.
