There has got to be a happy medium (pt 3)

Well the the doctor appointments have ended for this week. Not surprised it was a bad week.

Let me first tell you, again my Ent crew are amazing. They do give me some hope of my medical issues. Now with that said, let me tell you how today went.

It first stared at 615 this morning. I didn’t know it was going to be so cold this morning. With that being said I didn’t sleep very well, between the hubby and June wrestling for the blanket I was left freezing. After leaving in the dark to trek my way down to the hospital. You have to get there early for parking even if you have an disability tag.

Went in and registered. I was about 45 mins early, so I started to do my normal routine on my tablet just to keep busy and not fall asleep. Well getting closer to my appointment time, I had not been called. I went up to the desk to remind them and so they had to call upstairs.

I got upstairs and did the first of my two appointments. Hey at least it wasn’t those dang glasses. Next it was time with the ENT. I think dealing with her was truly my high light even though it was going to turn very wrong. While patients where being seen in the ENT clinic, Jps saw fit to do construction work in the hallway. I know you think hey that is no big deal, however here is where you are wrong. There was no concern for patients who might had have a hearing problem. Or sound issues. While I was waiting for my ENT to walk in they where right outside my door and they dropped ladders, and tools and well I jumped out of the chair very scarred.

Again I love my ENT. She is very caring, and listen to my issues with the hospital. I told her about the lab tech and my hand. The colonoscopy as well as the breast thing. She was very concern about me not being able to see my dermatologist until November and my primary until April. So she said she was going to get me into a clinic for my skin lesions. Also seeing I could not see my Primary she was going to prescribe me some steroids because what ever was going on in my chest was effecting my ear. We also discussed my biopsy and how they might have did something to my throat.

Now here comes the news I was hoping I was not going to get.

Was told today I have lost hearing in that ear and if it doesn’t improve I will be forced to use hearing aid (yes I could do sign but the people I live with don’t know sign and they don’t want too. ) Also in March they want to do the other ear because of the same thing, there is a hole behind my ear. Now she is worried bout the drainage from ear getting stuck in my chest and they want to do a thing in my nose, as well as a scope down my throat to see if there is an issue . With my syndrome my cancer fighters not like me very well, and I am sorry to say my dad had a history of throat and skin issues.

Stay tune for more.
